Moving day and visit the Home Café
After Valentin wouldn't sleep tuesday/wednesday night, we got up at 5 and walked with Sue and Trevor to a nice Café in Wynnum and had breakfast there. Thank you for taking us with you!
It was raining and raining, so we went to bed again until 12.30 p.m..
Later we "moved" to Annely, a suburb south of Brisbane CBD. Lori, Richi and Liam live here in a very nice, small and cozy house. They are friends of Lukas sister Vera and her family, as they lived in Switzerland a few years ago.
On thursday we went to the café I worked at in 2007, it is called Home Café. The owners changed a few times but it still looks like back then. So the counter, coffeemaschine, chairs and tables and the kidscorner are still the same.
It was very special to see Valentin playing there, I never imagined that, when I was working there.
In the afternoon we took the city ferry and enjoyed Brisbane from the river.
At the moment, it's Friday, we are at southbank and enjoy the sun and pool...
Later we will walk through the Botanical garden and will have dinner somewhere to see Brisbane by night.
